Los Alamitos Rotary Speaker Pledges College Tuition for 27 Kindergartners
Marty Burbank, nine-year rotary member, addressed his pledge to pay college tuition for his wife's Kindergarten class at July 18 meeting.

LOS ALAMITOS-SEAL BEACH, CA - From the Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary Club: The Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary held its regular meeting at Griffins Grill on July 18th . The Club welcomed as main speaker Mr. Marty Burbank, JD, LLM. Mr. Burbank is the owner of OC Elder Law, where he specializes in Estate and Tax Planning. He is a graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and Chapman University and has practiced law since 2002. He is a nine-year member of the Fullerton Rotary Club and the current president. The title of his talk was “Finding Treasure in a California Kindergarten.” He shared how he made a commitment 2 years ago to pay for college for all 27 students in his wife’s Kindergarten class at Rio Vista Elementary School in Anaheim. This pledge garnered national and international attention and has allowed Mr. Burbank a stage for promoting acts of service in keeping with the Rotary spirit.
