A Reflection Of Her Mother In Seal Beach: PHOTO

SEAL BEACH, CA — Whether it's through personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. On Mother's Day 2018, we are celebrating that special bond by sharing Patch reader "mother-daughter lookalike" photos. In west Garden Grove, daughter Donna Pennaccio remembers her mother, Barbara, this mother's day.

Donna wrote about their special time together.

"I am 53 years old in the picture taken of me on the left-hand side," she told Patch. "The picture taken on the right-hand side is my mother taken in 1968 where she was 29 years old."

The resemblance between the two women is uncanny.

"We look exactly alike we’ve always look alike," Donna commented. "Our family and friends constantly are taken back by how much we look-alike."

Though her mother passed away in 2013, Donna declares, "I miss her every day but at least I can look in the mirror and see my mother. I feel very blessed."
