Rossmoor To Begin Holiday Spirit with Decorative Light Posts
Rossmoor will host a holiday post building workshop on Nov. 23.

For the second year in a row, the Rossmoor Homeowners Association will add a bit of holiday cheer to the neighborhood by building decorative holiday light posts.
The light posts, which stand about nine feet tall and can include lights and garland, will be built on Nov. 23 during what RHA calls "Santa's Workshop."
During the workshop, residents can assemble their light poles with all material provided by the homeowner's association. Materials include the pole, lamp, mount, screws, wires, brackets and ribbon for the price of $70. Poles with lighted garland go for $100.
RHA said that each light post will take around one hour to assemble. For those who prefer to have someone else assemble the pole for them, a fee of $20 will be charged.
Those interested in signing up can email Chris Marshall at RossmoorLights@gmail.com or call 562-343-6908 by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Here are all the details:
- When: Saturday, Nov. 23. Demonstration begins at 1 p.m.
