Seal Beach Police Seek Public's Help to Find Missing Woman
Julia Sablock's mother says her daughter has been staying at motels in the Long Beach area.

Seal Beach police today issued a public call for help to track down a 22-year-old woman whose family hasn't heard from her since Dec. 11.
Julia Sablock last contacted her mother that day via a text message saying everything was OK, Seal Beach police Sgt. Philip Gonshak said. Sablock's mother reported her missing on Tuesday.

The mother's "investigative work" indicates Sablock has been saying with unknown friends in motel rooms in the Long Beach area, according to Gonshak, who said the owners of the motels confirmed they had seen her.
Sablock is white, 5-foot-8 and about 140 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, Gonshak said.
