Seal Beach US Water Polo Player Heads Back To Pool: How To Watch

SEAL BEACH, CA —Seal Beach water polo attacker Rachel Fattal headed back to the pool in the U.S. Women's Water Polo team's first competitive game in 453 days. The U.S. women face Canada in Commerce to begin a three-game series.
Monday night's roster for the 6 p.m. game at the Brenda Villa Aquatic Center included eight members from the 2016 Olympic gold medal-winning team:
Laguna Beach's Mackenzie Fischer is a defender on the team, while her sister Aria Fischer plays center on the squad. Also returning are attackers Rachel Fattal (Seal Beach), Kaleigh Gilchrist (Newport Beach), Maddie Musselman (Newport Beach) and Maggie Steffens; defender Melissa Seidemann (Walnut Creek); and goalkeeper Ashleigh Johnson (Miami).

The U.S. won gold medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics and finished first at each of the last three FINA World Championships held every other year.
The U.S. and Canada have qualified for the Tokyo Olympics -- the U.S. by being the 2019 FINA World League champion and Canada as the 2019 Pan American Games silver medalist.

The teams will also play at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos and 6 p.m. Friday at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta.
In compliance with local health guidelines and venue capacity limitations, they are not selling tickets for these games. The only spectators permitted will be the family and friends of the players.
