Forklift Strikes Bolsa Overcrossing In Traffic Nightmare
All Northbound Lanes of the 405 were closed Beach Boulevard to Westminster Boulevard Monday as overcrossing is repaired, CHP Says.
WESTMINSTER, CA —The 405 northbound through Westminster was in a hard closure Monday morning after a piece of construction equipment struck an overcrossing, California Highway Patrol says.
On Monday at 7:30 a.m., a semi-truck hauling a forklift, heading northbound on the 405, struck the Bolsa Overcrossing with the lift, CHP Officer Duane Graham tells Patch.
No one was injured, but the impact caused a mess of debris as well as damage to the bridge, Graham says.

CHP officers diverted traffic to Northbound Beach to 22 and Southbound Beach to Edinger.
Lanes began to reopen at 12:30 p.m. though on and off ramps to Beach Boulevard remained partially closed as of 1 p.m.

Cleanup and repairs negatively impacted northbound traffic from Fountain Valley through Westminster for most of Monday, California Highway Patrol reports.
