SIGALERT On Northbound 405 As Truck Collides With Bridge
The northbound 405 in the area of Seal Beach was at a standstill, Wednesday, though traffic remains light due to the coronavirus shutdown.

WESTMINSTER, CA —Northbound 405 traffic was at a standstill Wednesday morning, after a truck collision caused major damage to a bridge on the 405 roadway.
The non-injury crash in the area of Westminster was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at Westminster Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP's preliminary report, the truck was carrying a backhoe that came into contact with the bridge that crosses over the freeway.

Crews were sent to remove debris from the roadway, and an inspection was being arranged to check on the damage to the structure.
As of 10 a.m., the road was still closed, with traffic being diverted at Midway City.
