Spin! Pizza to Open in Los Alamitos in December, Construction Underway
Spin Pizzeria in Los Alamitos is the second to open in Orange County.
With an anticipated December opening date, work on the new Neapolitan-style pizza joint Spin! Pizza is well underway in Los Alamitos.
The Los Alamitos location will be the second Kansas City based SPIN! restaurant to open in Orange County. The franchise's first location opened in May 2013 near the Honda Center in Anaheim.
The pizzeria will be owned and operated by Lucille's Smokhouse and Hof's Hut restaurant owner Craig Hofman and the Hofman Hospitality Group. Hofman plans to open a total of 37 Spin! locations in Southern California, according to a news release from the company.
The pizza franchise specializes in stone-fired pizzas made with fresh ingredients and special flour imported directly from Italy. Restaurants combine a "fast-casual" ordering system at the counter with a full-service experience at their tables. The restaurant has received numerous awards for its pizza and was ranked the number one pizza restaurant in Kansas City by Zagat.
Los Alamitos SPIN! will be located at 11122 Los Alamitos Boulevard in the space once occupied by Train Wreck Pizza. The space is currently undergoing a complete overhaul to transform it into SPIN!.
