Would Sonic the Hedgehog Buy a Home in Seal Beach?
These great illustrations show what famous video game character's homes would look like in real life.
It may sound a little ridiculous, but where would iconic video game characters live if they had homes in our world? A designer recently reimagined the environments for these types of protagonists in the form of “ home for sale” listings. Upon looking them over, one could surmise that Sonic the Hedgehog’s home may as well be in Seal Beach, CA.
In the full album of illustrations from Homes.com, a wide range of characters are covered. This includes the classics like Mario and Donkey Kong, plus several newer faces, such as Creeper and Tracer. Sonic’s home listing stands out as one in an environment similar to Southern California. From the palm trees to beachfront to the bright sun above, the scene is reminiscent of one seen in the OC.
Unfortunately for anyone who truly lives in the region, home prices are far beyond that shown in Sonic’s listing. If this home did exist in this area, it’d be sold before the morning dew dried.
