Hosted by state Assemblyman Marc Berman, wildfire experts and community members should gain a meeting of the minds on prevention.

LOS ALTOS, CA — California Assemblyman Marc Berman is hosting a wildfire town hall on June 22 to give the public a chance to hear from a panel of experts from across his San Francisco Peninsula district on wildfire prevention efforts.
The town hall is slated for 9 a.m. at Portola Valley Community Hall located at 765 Portola Road in San Mateo County.
Cal Fire and the state's Office of Emergency Services will share state efforts, while local responders will provide information on how to make homes more fire resistant. Pacific Gas & Electric will review ways to reduce fires that includes turning off power in certain weather conditions.
