Child Porn Matter Found At Los Altos Suspect's Home, Police Said
A collaborative police effort led to the subsequent arrest of a Los Altos man accused of having child pornography.

LOS ALTOS, CA -- A Los Altos man was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography last week, the Los Altos Police Department reported.
City police worked with the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office in obtaining the warrant that resulted in Jeffrey Rowland taken into custody from his residence on Feb. 27.
In January, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided multiple CyberTip reports to the Los Altos Police Department regarding the suspected possession of harmful matter, specifically child pornography.

A follow-up investigation conducted by the Mountain View and Los Altos police departments led to locating and seizing child pornography material at the home.
Rowland was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
