First All-female City Council Ushered Into Los Altos
The city government welcomes two new city councilwomen Anita Enander and Neysa Fligor to the Los Altos panel.

LOS ALTOS, CA -- With the city swearing in Dec. 4 of two new councilwomen Anita Enander and Neysa Fligor, the local government made history by ushering in the first all-female city council in the city's history.
Councilwoman Lynette Lee Eng was elected as mayor by her colleagues on the council, with Councilwoman Jan Pepper elected as vice mayor.
The changing of the guard has also involved a nod to outgoing Councilwoman Mary Prochnow and Mayor Jean Mordo for their leadership and service.
