Five Juveniles Caught Burglarizing Home
Five were taken into custody by a half hour after the call came in that a house on the 200 block of Galli Drive was being broken into.

LOS ALTOS, CA -- Police responded to a call at 12:17 p.m. Friday that a home was being burglarized on the 200 block of Galli Dr. and within a half hour officers tracked down five juveniles in three different nearby locations with assistance from Mountain View police and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.
The suspects were taken into custody. Names of juveniles are traditionally not released.
The caller, a neighbor of the homeowner, provided dispatchers with enough information involving a description of the suspects most fleeing on foot and the associated vehicle, which ended up crashing into a tree at the intersection of San Antonio Road and West Edith Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Los Alto Police Sgt. Steve Spillman characterized the incident as a "good coordinated effort."
