Foothill College Hosts 'Observe The Moon Night'
The Saturday night event features a prime opportunity to join others in viewing Earth's closest neighbor during its quarter moon phase.
LOS ALTOS, CA — The Foothill College Astronomy Department and the Peninsula Astronomical Society is hosting the NASA's Observe the Moon Night on Saturday.
The astronomical event is scheduled at the Foothill College Observatory at 7 p.m.
The first quarter moon on Oct. 5 provides a prime opportunity to join people around the world in taking a closer look at the Earth's nearest neighbor.
