Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year

Travel will never be the same but we must pray and hope that we will be able to visit far away places soon.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season, but since the whole world is in a state of chaos we must do our best to enjoy what we have, and hope that things improve in the New Year. The main thing is for everyone to stay safe, and dream about your bucket list for the future.

As we come to the end of 2020, we can only reflect on what a strange year it has been. In the middle of a global pandemic, travel advisors have proven why they need to be a part of every traveler’s arsenal of professionals. Travel advisors have worked tirelessly to get clients back home after the COVID-19 outbreak, made sure that their treasured holidays are rescheduled and refunded, and been founts of reliable information on where, when and how we can travel.

There was a survey of over 1000 affluent travelers done in October. Key findings from the survey were that here is where people want to go to, as soon as travel is safe.

What these results show is that travelers are concerned with health and safety as opposed to economics. The desire to travel is still there and with the help of travel advisors, I am confident that people can turn their holiday dreams into reality. Travel will be back, and the travel advisors will be there to help.

A friend recently told me that he has taken early retirement, many years ahead of schedule. He did only long flights to overseas destinations as a senior pilot for a major airline. He said he did not feel safe in the cockpit, even wearing a mask, since the air conditioning system would be spreading the virus from any passengers on board . This is an issue which has to be resolved.

In the meantime, dream of where you would like to go in the future, whenever that may be. It cheers me up to plan. Go on our website and dream - www.froschvacations.com

I shall miss the Christmas service at church, we enjoyed the large choir, and of course, my yearly visit to see the Nutcracker Ballet.

All the best,

Cheerio,
