Kid Friendly Pigtails & Crewcuts To Open In Los Altos

LOS ALTOS, CA -- Pigtails & Crewcuts will be making its grand debut in early December in Los Altos. This kid-centric salon offers a unique, memorable experience for children of all ages in a convenient location in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Sisters-in-law, close friends, and now business partners, Reyna Patel and Sneha Bhavan are bringing a kid-friendly salon to the Peninsula.

“It was very hard for us to find a children’s salon where stylists had the patience and personality to handle my two boys,” Patel said. "They hated getting haircuts and would constantly be on the move, which made our trip to the salon such an ordeal for everyone.”

Bhavan experienced a similar situation with her son.

“I vividly remember the time I took my son to a regular salon at the age of three. The sound of the buzzer close to his ears and swift movement of the scissors and combs coming at him from different directions was an experience that scared him. The stylist became aggravated as my son wouldn’t sit still, which didn’t help the already horrible experience,” she said.

The franchise organization based in Atlanta, Pigtails & Crewcuts, was a brand the women fell in love with from the start. There's the classy décor, a child-friendly environment and entertainment for kids. On the business side, the strong franchise support made it the right choice for them.

The salon will be located at 2310 Homestead Rd., Suite C in Los Altos near Trader Joe’s.
