Evelyn Chevillat Gunning

Born in New York, Evelyn moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She later earned a degree in psychology at UCLA. She and husband Bill moved to Los Altos Hills, where they raised their family. Evelyn was known to ask people, "What are you doing in your life that you are enjoying?" She passed away earlier this year at the age of 95. Dorothy Hubbard

Former resident of Los Altos, Dorothy Hubbard passed away in on Oct. 12, 2013 at the age of 95. An artist, her paintings may be viewed in an online gallery. She and her husband were married for 72 years. She is survived by her children Bob, Ann and Linda.

Robert Edwards

Robert E. Edwards passed away on October 25, 2013 at the age of 98. A former FBI agent and Naval Intelligence Specialist, Robert started his own insurance agency. He also founded the Mountain View - Los Altos Association of Insurance Agents. After selling his business to a national company, Robert enjoyed an active retirement as a pilot, golfer and sailor. He is survived by two stepsons.
