Los Altos Makes Top 20 List of Most Home Sales Over $1 Million

Billionaire Microsoft Mogul Paul Allen may have chosen Atherton over Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, but plenty of other people want to live in the 94024 zip code.

In the Fall 2013 Luxury Market Report from Coldwell Banker, Los Altos was listed as number 19 on the list of Top 20 U.S. ZIP codes with the highest number of luxury home sales. The list covers a 12 month period ending in summer 2013.

Bay Area cities that made the list ahead of Los Altos include Saratoga, Menlo Park and Cupertino.

Coldwell Banker does separate lists for homes sales above $5 million and $10 million.
