Manresa Bread Los Altos Announces New Spring Menu and Pre-Order For Easter

SOUTH BAY, CA -- Neighborhood bakery Manresa Bread says it's celebrating the start of spring with an updated menu this month at its Los Altos and Los Gatos locations.

The last day to place an order for Easter Sunday pick-up is April 13.

Strawberries, Rhubarb, Asparagus, Spring Herb, Polenta, and Pistachio are a few of new ingredients Head Baker Avery Ruzicka and her team are introducing to the menu alongside the regular daily selection of handmade breads, pastries, and cookies prepared daily with house-milled grains.

Extra care is taken to source the best quality ingredients, mill flours on-site at the bakery, and use traditional fermentation and baking techniques, all of which result in breads and pastries with complex flavor profiles. These techniques also make it possible for the bakery to offer products that can withstand shipping without the use of preservatives. Guests can log on to the Manresa Bread website for a list of items available for convenient pick-up and delivery.

New menu items include: Quiche; Quiche Lorraine with ham and gruyere; Spring Pistou Quiche with spring herbs and asparagus; Cakes and Pastries; Polenta Cake (gluten free); Pistachio Cherry Escargot; Seasonal Breads; Whole Wheat Bread with flax, sesame, and buckwheat flour; Fruit and Nut Porridge Bread with cherry, almond and polenta.

Specialty items for Easter available for pre-order and limited availability in-store include: Chocolate Walnut Babka; Rhubarb and Strawberry Tart; Large Kouign Amann; Rhubarb and Strawberry Tart; Hot Cross Buns; and Brioche Rolls.
