Police Calls: Bank Robbery & iPad on the Sidewalk

The Los Altos Police log for March 6 sums it up for Los Altos of late: one big crime in a series of recent bank robberies downtown and an honest person finds an iPad ... just lying there. Heartening, isn't it?

2:00 p.m., 2000 block of Crist Drive; gas leaf blower in use, reprimanded and released
4:37 p.m., 2000 block of Farndon Avenue; gas leaf blower in use, reprimanded and released

Noisy Animal

4:47 p.m., 600 block of Belden Court; report of barking dog, officer responded and it was quiet on arrival and departure

Found Property

6:10 p.m, 911, 100 block of Edith Avenue; found iPad on the sidewalk, report taken
