Police Calls: The Repo Man Visits

The Los Altos Police log for March 7 also shows two burglaries, a citation for a barking dog, and a theft of about $800—from a wallet left in an unlocked car.

It's a bummer to come out of the house early on a weekday, only to discover your car is missing, and it wasn't stolen—it was repossessed.

And how do you forget $800 in an unlocked car on Jordan Avenue? We don't know, but the March 7 log of the Los Altos Police also contains some good news. Someone went down to the police station to report a lost item and happily found it had been turned into the police earlier.
