Utility Work Tuesday Involves El Monte Ave. Lane Closure
PG&E will be putting in a gas pipeline on the street near the I-280 turnoff, thus prompting expected traffic delays.
LOS ALTOS, CA -- Pacific Gas & Electric will be working extended hours as part of a project involving a gas pipeline installation on El Monte Avenue near Interstate 280 on Jan. 29.
The utility company's permit includes a lane closure on El Monte Avenue from Summerhill Avenue to northbound I-280, Los Altos Police announced.
The work hours will be scheduled for 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
