Woodland Library Closed Until Jan. 5

Pre-Christmas flooding means the popular south Los Altos library branch will be closed through Friday. The Los Altos Library reopens Wednesday after the New Year's Day holiday and Woodland holds can be picked up there.

Those pre-Christmas storms were doozies, weren't they?

All libraries in the Santa Clara County Library District reopen Wednesday after the New Year's Day holiday, but not Woodland Library.

Los Altos Library Community Librarian Jane Cronkhite posted on the library's Facebook Page that the storms flooded the Woodland Library, closing it for several days, beginning Dec. 24.

If you have a hold on an item at the Woodland Library, she advised, it can be picked up at the Los Altos Library. Call the Los Altos Library to confirm your hold has arrived, however: (650) 948-7683.
