An overnight sobriety and driver license checkpoint in Malibu netted 13 arrests, but none for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, authorities said Saturday.

A total of 1,112 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, which was set up from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning on the northbound Pacific Coast Highway at John Tyler Drive, said Sgt. Philip Brooks of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station.

Deputies arrested six unlicensed drivers, four who were driving while their licenses were suspended or revoked and one who was driving a vehicle while in possession of an open alcoholic beverage container, Brooks said. Two suspects were arrested for having outstanding warrants, he said. Seven vehicles were impounded, three for 30 days and four on one-day holds, Brooks said.
