3 Cars Crash Near Malibu Canyon Road Tunnel
Both lanes were closed Thursday afternoon after a collision resulted in serious injuries.
MALIBU, CA — Three cars collided near the Malibu Canyon Road tunnel Thursday, resulting in serious injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 4 p.m., and both lanes of Malibu Canyon Road near the tunnel were closed as crews investigated. One party was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, according to Officer Weston Haver of the West Valley CHP.
Lanes were reopened after around 45 minutes, Haver said. The collision remains under investigation.
