3 New Stores Open At Malibu Country Mart

MALIBU, CA — Malibu Country Mart continues to grow this summer with the addition of three new stores. Luxury women's clothing label Ba&sh is set to open at Malibu Country Mart this July. White's Mercantile and All Things Bell also recently opened at Malibu Country Mart in April.

Ba&sh is owed by best friends Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, and the name is derived from the first letters of their names. The store, which is described as "where the glamorous meet the bohème," is the second West Coast location for the brand. The shop will carry upscale, casual chic, bohemian and retro clothes that can be worn for all occasions.

"Rooted in effortless Parisian style, expect feminine silk dresses, floral jumpsuits, and high-necked blouses," the press release said.

White's Mercantile, which opened in April 2019, is owned by singer-songwriter Holly Williams, daughter of country legend Hank Williams Jr. The store is described as "a general store for the modern tastemaker." This is the first West Coast location, and it includes "a beautiful curation of locally-made products and items unique to Malibu including accessories, home goods, baby gifts, pet essentials and more," the press release said.

"The store’s design pays homage to Williams’ Nashville roots, with a Southern-meets-Rock ‘n' Roll aesthetic," the press release said.

All Things Bell, which also opened in April 2019, is owned by designer Alicia Bell. The Malibu location is its only brick-and-mortar store, and the shop includes "beautiful resort-wear for women and children, suitable for both the beach and a special event," the press release said.

"The boutique draws its inspiration from beach side towns from Santorini to Malibu," the Malibu Country Mart press release said. "Shoppers can expect customizable flowy designs in a dazzling array of fabrics, block printed by hand in Jaipur, India. The silk cotton voile used is so soft and luxurious, that the brand sells a pajama line made of the same fabric as the dresses."
