5 Things: Malipalooza Returns to Bluffs Park This Month

Here's a handful of things to keep in mind for today.

• Malipalooza 2013 annual summer festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 4 to 10 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park, located on Pacific Coast Highway at Malibu Canyon Road.  The event is free and open to the public.

• Enjoy a family-friendly free movie in an air-conditioned theater. Muvico is offering its Summer Film Fest in Thousand Oaks (166 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks). Happy Feet Two is this week's selection from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Ideas are needed for an ongoing Pacific Coast Highway Safety Study meeting.
