Brave dog looking for fur-ever home!
Dog missing a leg found at the Malibu Farmers Market and on his way to a speedy recovery!

As some of you may or may not know, a dog was handed to me at the Malibu Farmers Market last Sunday, Sept 23rd, who was missing a leg, bleeding, and terrified. The look of horror and unimaginable pain in his eyes was heart-wrenching. The only thing I could think to do was bring him immediately to Dr. Dean at Malibu Coast Hospital and get him medicated to relieve his pain.
The Doctor said that he had been missing his leg anywhere from 6 to 12 hours.
He had surgery Wednesday morning to amputate his hind leg. Thankfully, the surgery went well and he is now staying with a wonderful woman in Malibu who is nurturing him during his rehabilitation. Between this woman, Sherman from Sherman’s Place and myself he is surrounded with love.

Now we are looking for a forever home for this magnificently brave dog. We have taken to calling him Will, because of his inspiring will to live. He has a lot of love to give. Although he’s strong, he has a gentle soul. If anyone knows of someone, or is that special someone, who wants to welcome Will into their heart and into their home, please reach out to me, Debra Bianco, President and co-founder of the Cornucopia Foundation, at 310-428-4262.
Your continued support and well-wishes are greatly appreciated.
