Rock Fire Extinguished In Malibu
Firefighters put out a small brush fire near Big Rock Drive Sunday morning.

MALIBU, CA — A small brush fire was extinguished Sunday morning in Malibu, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reports.
Firefighters responded to a call at 5:13 a.m. Sunday that a 50 by 100 foot brush fire was burning on a hillside near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Big Rock Drive, deemed the ‘Rock Fire.’ Crews arrived on the scene at 5:24, stopped forward progress at 5:55, and finished mop-up at 7:51, according to an LA County Fire spokesperson.
Westbound PCH lanes were closed during the until then, according to the Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.

No damages or injuries were reported.
