Car Crashes On PCH, One Person Trapped
Fire department crews were able to extricate the passenger of a vehicle that went over the side of PCH.
MALIBU, CA — Firefighters extracted one person from a car after a single-vehicle accident on Pacific Coast Highway, according to the LA County Fire Department.
At around 3:09 p.m. Friday, one person went over the side of the road on the 33900 block of PCH near Nicholas Canyon Beach. The fire department arrived at 3:14 to find the passenger trapped inside the car. Crews extricated the passenger and transported them to a nearby hospital, according to Nicholas Lim of the LA County Fire Department.
Details on the victim were not available.
