Woman Injured After Car Falls 100 Feet Off Malibu Canyon Road
A Fire Department helicopter hoisted the victim out of the crash area and transported her to a nearby hospital.

MALIBU, CA — A car overturned and went off the edge of Malibu Canyon Road, about two miles north of Pacific Coast Highway, Los Angeles County Fire officials have confirmed.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the car went about 100 feet over the side of the road, according to L.A. County Fire Department spokesperson Marvin Lim. The woman driving the car was ejected, and a Search and Rescue Team hoisted the woman out of the area using a fire department helicopter.
She suffered minor to moderate injuries, and was transported to a nearby hospital.

The accident comes on the same day that one person died in a car fire on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, just north of PCH.
