Chinese Restaurant Mr. Chow Closes Malibu Location

MALIBU, CA — Mr. Chow, a Chinese fine dining restaurant with lobster dumplings and fiery beef, quietly closed its Malibu location after eight years.

The restaurant, which was in Malibu Country Mart, closed January 2, Mr. Chow confirmed to Eater LA.

The experience at Mr. Chow is one "that cannot be defined by customary standards but must be appreciated for its sheer fabulousness," Alan Richman once wrote in GQ Magazine.

For those who still need their fix of Mr. Chow, there are still locations in Beverly Hills, New York, Las Vegas, Miami and London.

The Malibu location was at 3835 Cross Creek Rd, Malibu, CA 90265.
