CineMalibu Screening Of 'Hocus Pocus' Just In Time For Halloween
Bring your little witches and warlocks to a free screening of the kookiest, spookiest Halloween movie, "Hocus Pocus."
MALIBU, CA — The City of Malibu is hosting an evening of spooky Halloween fun for the whole family with a CineMalibu free outdoor movie screening of Hocus Pocus on Saturday, October 19, at Malibu Bluffs Park.
The movie begins at sunset, and pre-event activities start at 5 p.m. Kids can help design a Halloween-themed art piece with the Malibu Library, participate in relay races, three-legged and burlap bag races, egg relays, raffles and giveaways, as well as face painting by Fancy Pantz Face Painting, the City of Malibu press release said.. Food will be available for purchase from the D’Amores Pizza food truck. Attendees are encouraged wear their Halloween costumes, and to bring gently used Halloween costumes to donate to a local charity to benefit at-risk youth, the press release said.
The City’s CineMalibu series has presented free outdoor movie screenings for the community since 2005. No RSVPs or seat reservations are needed, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees may bring in outside food, but no alcohol is allowed at Malibu Bluffs Park. Bluffs Park is located at 24250 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
