Dog Rescued After Falling 30-Feet Down Abandoned Well In Malibu
The pup was taken to a veterinarian to be examined after firefighters completed the rescue.
MALIBU, CA — A dog was rescued after it fell 30 feet down an abandoned well in Malibu Friday.
Authorities were called about 12:55 p.m. to the 6700 block of Dume Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A rescuer was lowered into the narrow well opening and eventually came out with the dog, a dispatcher said. The pup was taken to a veterinarian to be examined.

The rescue was complete by 4:25 p.m., according to the dispatcher.
