MALIBU, CA — Tesla CEO Elon Musk caused a splash this weekend when he brought his new Cybertruck to Nobu in Malibu.
Many onlookers were seen taking photo and video of the car, which the valet attendants left at the front of the restaurant, CNBC reported. As Musk was leaving the restaurant, curious diners came out to see the truck, including actor Ed Norton, the news website reported.
The electric truck won't be available to the public until 2021 or 2022, according to TMZ.

The Cybertruck was unveiled at a promotional event in Los Angeles last month, but it didn't go as planned — the demonstration ended with metal balls shattering the supposedly shatterproof glass windows, according to the celebrity news website.
The truck will be Tesla's sixth model since its founding in 2003, and will be competing against the Ford F Series, which has been the nation's bestselling pickup truck for more than 40 years, CNBC reported. Its starting price is $39,900, and Musk said the Cybertruck has already received 250,000 pre-orders, according to Business Insider.
