Fortnite Fans Play For Shopping Spree At Camarillo Outlets

MALIBU, CA —Amateur esports enthusiasts, this one is for you. The mega-mall corporation Simon and Allied Esports, a global esports entertainment company, announced Gold Ticket pick-up locations for The Simon Cup℠ within the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

The first-of-its-kind national amateur esports program features a Fortnite competition, appearances by FaZe Clan, online qualifiers, regional finals and gaming festivals in Los Angeles and New York, and weekly prizes and giveaways. Register to play at guest services at the Camarillo Premium Outlets.

The tournament will conclude on Nov. 23 with a Grand Final at HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas, where a winner will be crowned and awarded the Grand Prize – a $50,000 shopping spree at a Simon destination.

Participants can register to play by visiting Guest Services and requesting a free Gold Ticket at six Simon locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, including: Brea Mall, Del Amo Fashion Center, Ontario Mills, The Outlets at Orange and The Shops at Mission Viejo.

The Gold Ticket includes a code that enters you into the Los Angeles qualifying bracket. Once you register and log into your account on the Simon Cup website, head to the home page and enter the code to begin playing.

Gamers can play as many games as possible during each one-hour session to earn points and climb the leaderboard, a spokesperson said.

Participants can play as many sessions as he or she would like during each ladder period and can win additional prizes over the course of the qualifying rounds by participating in missions.

The top 100 players from the Los Angeles regional bracket will advance to the Regional Finals at Ontario Mills on November 9 and 10 where they will compete on the HyperX Esports Truck and have the opportunity to meet select members of FaZe Clan. The top performer in the region will win a $10,000 shopping spree at a Simon destination, and the top 16 players from the region will advance to the Simon Cup Grand Final in Las Vegas.
