It's Hot in Malibu—And Weekend Relief is Not in Sight
Temperatures will remain in the 80s through the weekend in Malibu.
Warmer than average temperatures will remain in Malibu over the weekend, with unseasonable highs in the 80s at the beach.
Temperatures will peak Saturday at 80 degrees or even higher in some areas of Malibu, with overnight lows in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
Average temperatures are normally in the low 70s in September, according to forecasters.
The water temperature at Malibu beaches is around 63 degrees—a nice contrast to the hot weather. Temps should reach up into the triple digits over the hill in Agoura and Calabasas, so Malibu residents can expect crowded beaches this weekend.
