Dockweiler State Beach in Playa del Rey got a spring cleaning Thursday during Kids Ocean Day. More than 5,500 elementary school students participated in the Malibu Foundation for Envionmental Education event. Among those participating in the program were members of the Malibu-based Eco Hero Kids.
