Malibu Colony Beach Most Expensive Neighborhood In L.A.

MALIBU, CA – According to data collected from Property Shark, Malibu Colony Beach is the most expensive neighborhood in Los Angeles. Based on seven transactions, the median home price for a house in this area was $15.725 million. Property Shark gathered the data by looking at all residential transactions closed between January 1 and June 3o of this year for single- and two-family homes, excluding package deals.

However, it should be noted that Property Shark data on small neighborhoods is now included in statistics for larger areas. For example, Malibu Road and Malibu Beach Colony are taken as a single neighborhood.

Out of the top 10 most expensive neighborhoods, Malibu neighborhoods take five spots and six are on or near the beach. Malibu and Beverly Hills combined accounted for 10 of the 20 most expensive neighborhoods on the list.
