Malibu Facility Schedule For Labor Day Weekend

MALIBU, CA — The City of Malibu released the city facility schedule for Labor Day weekend, which is August 30 to September 2.

Malibu Bluffs Park and the Michael Landon Center will be open and staffed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2, the City of Malibu said. There are no regular programs scheduled.

"Due to the increase in holiday visitors, Malibu Bluffs Park will be patrolled by private security guards on Sunday and Monday from noon to 9 p.m., to ensure visitor safety during park closing and after hours," the City said.

Here is a list of all City facilities and their hours for Labor Day weekend:

MALIBU CITY HALL

• Closed Friday through Monday, August 30 to September 2

MALIBU BLUFFS PARK

• Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

MALIBU COMMUNITY POOL

• Open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, August 30
• Open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, August 31 to Sunday, September 1
• Closed Monday, September 2

MALIBU SENIOR CENTER

• Closed Friday, August 30 through Monday, September 2

TRANCAS CANYON PARK

• Open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily

LAS FLORES CREEK PARK

• Open from 8 a.m. to dusk daily

LEGACY PARK

• Open from 8 a.m. to dusk daily

MALIBU EQUESTRIAN PARK

• Open from 8 a.m. to dusk daily

SANTA MONICA-MALIBU UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (SMMUSD) CAMPUSES

• All school campuses will be closed on Monday, September 2
