The home belongs to Snyder's parents, and she was staying there while her own home was being renovated, officials told the news station.
The crawl space had not been checked despite three searches of the property since Feb. 8, possibly because a piece of plywood was placed over the entrance, sheriff's Lt. Barry Hall told KTLA.

“It appears to us she’s been there since the day she was reported missing,” Hall told the news station.
There is no evidence of a crime or foul play, according to the sheriff's department.
An autopsy will have to be performed before authorities determine an official cause of death, KTLA reported.
Snyder, who suffered from bipolar disorder, was last seen near her home at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 8, according to the department. Investigators and volunteers had been searching the area around the home for Snyder since then.
