No New Year's Fireworks In Malibu, Fire Officials Say
There are, however, a few places Malibu residents can see fireworks outside of city limits this weekend.
MALIBU, CA – No firework permits have been issued for the New Year's holiday in Malibu, the Los Angeles County Fire Department confirmed. However, the City of Malibu suggests that residents can still enjoy fireworks on Dec. 31 at the following locations outside of city limits:
- Barge off the area of PCH and Chautauqua (Pacific Palisades area) at 9:00 PM
- Santa Monica Pier at 12:00 AM
