One Airlifted To Hospital After Crash On PCH In Malibu

The crash prompted the closure of all westbound lanes and one eastbound lane and motorists were advised to avoid the area, officials said.

MALIBU, CA — At least one person was injured Tuesday evening in a crash involving a pedestrian on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, authorities said.

Firefighters responded about 8:20 p.m. to the crash in the 21400 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

One person was being airlifted from the scene to a hospital, a fire department dispatcher said.
