One Injured In Malibu Crash After Car Veers 100 Feet Off Roadway

One person was taken to a trauma center Saturday after a vehicle went 100 feet off of Decker Canyon Road in Malibu.

MALIBU, CA — One person was taken to a trauma center Saturday after a vehicle went 100 feet off of Decker Canyon Road in Malibu.

The crash was reported at 2:37 p.m. in the 2200 block of Decker Canyon Road, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett.

All of the people inside the vehicle were on the side of the road when paramedics arrived but the decision was made to take one to the hospital by ground ambulance, Pickett said.

Decker Canyon Road was shut down in both directions, according to the city of Malibu Emergency Services.
