Patch Editor Receives Commendation
Jonathan Friedman was honored by City Council on Monday.
Former Malibu Patch editor Jonathan Friedman received a commendation at the City Council meeting on Monday for his 10 years of being a Malibu journalist, especially for his work at Patch.
Friedman said the commendation praised Patch as a good medium for the community. After he arrived at the meeting decked out in his best Hawaiian shirt, Friedman said, "Had I known they were giving me a commendation, I would have dressed a little nicer."
