PCH Reopens After Pedestrian Death

A man was struck and killed in the early hours of Thursday morning on PCH and Puerco Canyon Road.

MALIBU, CA — A man was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Both north and southbound lanes were closed on PCH between Malibu Canyon Road and Corral Canyon Road until about 9:40 a.m. Thursday, according to California Highway Patrol.

The crash took place around 2:25 a.m. Thursday near Puerco Canyon Road, according to Deputy Grace Medrano of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The driver waited for the police, and reports do not indicate any arrests, according to Medrano.
