Power Failure Blacks Out 730 Customers in Malibu

Southern California Edison says electricity will be restored by 8 p.m.

Approximately 730 electricity customers remained without power in Malibu Sunday as Southern California Edison experienced an unplanned outage.

An equipment failure caused the blackout which began at 12:44 a.m., according to the SCE website. Restoration of power is not expected until 8 p.m.
