Rainy Weekend Ahead

Malibu residents can expect a wet and slippery weekend, as rain is expected to pour throughout Saturday and into Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS predicts a 100 percent chance of afternoon participation, with possibility of thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall. Saturday's high is 56, with a low of 46, and winds could reach up to 35 mph.

Saturday night, there is a 90 percent chance of rain, and winds are expected to remain at high speeds. 

Sunday, Malibu can expect to see much of the same, with a 50 percent chance of rain and possible thunderstorms in the afternoon, and a 30 percent chance of rain Sunday evening. 

Sunday will have a high of 54 and a low of 46.
