Woman Survives 200-Foot Plunge Over Side of Malibu Canyon Road
A rescue team brought the woman up to the roadway, where she was airlifted to a hospital.
A woman was brought to safety after plunging 200 feet over the side of Malibu Canyon Road Monday near Malibu.
The crash was reported about 10:30 p.m. Monday on Malibu Canyon Road near Francisco Ranch Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A rescue team brought the woman up to the roadway, where she was airlifted to a hospital.
The victim was a female who complained of minor pain, according to the watch commander at the sheriff's Malibu/Lost Hills Station.
