VIDEO: Preserve Malibu Pushes Retail Ordinance
Preserve Malibu made its presence felt at Monday's City Council meeting.
Eighty public speakers stood in line to speak to City Council Monday, many of which represented the Preserve Malibu movement.
Malibu City Council on Monday gave direction to city staff to draft a preliminary retail diversification ordinance.
Staff will examine, among other things, the percentage of stores in Malibu that can represent chain stores, as well as which areas within the city will implement the ordinance.
